Patiently Waiting For A Correction

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

I keep waiting for a large or substantial correction when I can cover my shorts and deploy money on the sidelines on oil and gas as well as precious metal stocks. The markets still seem jittery. And oil and gas and precious metals have been resilient throughout this turbulent period.

I have tremendous respect and admiration for Doug Kass, general partner of Seabreeze Partners Management, Inc. and commentator for The Edge Column on RealMoney Silver (subscription required—part of TheStreet.com family). If you caught his appearance on CNBC's Fast Money, you have witnessed his bearish stance. His writing lately on The Edge seems extremely confident.

I am just patiently waiting for my opportunity to reorient my portfolio. I hope to cover my shorts in the near term and expand my position in oil and gas as well as precious metals.
