Calgarians enjoyed a terrific weekend of hot weather, with the temperatures in the low 30s C or low 90s F. On Saturday, I biked 66 kilometers or 41 miles. I am a bit sore today, but still feeling good. I rode near the Bow River for most of my trip yesterday and noticed all the people floating down the river.
Today I took a few shots of people floating down the river in rafts and kayaks. My pictures were taken from a small pedestrian bridge in the Bowness area.
Everyone was having an enjoyable time. Some people were floating down the river, some were biking along the paths, and others were out walking. Some brave (or foolish) young men were jumping off the bridge into the Bow River. I think they were having the most fun of all. The weather this weekend was simply too good to spend much time indoors.
Unfortunately, I did not realize that I had left my camera on manual focus, so the pictures are not as sharp as they ought to be. I missed a few great pictures, but, for the most part, the focus is not bad.
I hope everyone had a great weekend.
